Jegarakshagan Gokul has attained and surpassed many milestones during a career in information technology and software engineering of nearly 20 years. Jegarakshagan Gokul has implemented architectures featuring high-volume transactions in the banking, health care, energy, finance, and telecom sectors and increased efficiency for large infrastructures. He offers strategic solutions after conducting gaps analyses and assessments.
Jegarakshagan Gokul has managed large projects from inception to delivery and kept abreast of changes in the information technology industry. With excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills, Jegarakshagan Gokul has been successful in bringing businesses together with the technology suited to their needs. He possesses a wealth of experience in the software life development cycle. Enterprise architecture frameworks he has worked with include DoDAF, NIST, TOGAF, Zachman, and Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA).
With more than a decade of experience, Jegarakshagan Gokul has applied his skills with organizations in a range of areas, including application, technology, business, and information. He has also planned, developed, and implemented service-oriented architecture (SOA) projects and provided advice and roadmaps on virtualization and enterprise architecture.
Currently, Jegarakshagan Gokul acts as Enterprise Architect for Technology Crest Corporation, a company he joined in 2007. Prior to his current position, Gokul served the State of Oregon as an Enterprise Architect and Chief Enterprise Architect, and he spent a year with the U.S. Department of Energy as an Enterprise Architect. In addition, he has held the positions of Enterprise Architect for Wells Fargo; Principal Architect and Senior Solutions Architect for Oracle Corporation; Chief Architect for Infuseum, Inc.; and Enterprise Architect for the State of California. He also acted as Enterprise and Chief Architect for Chain-Sys Corporation, located in Lansing, Michigan.
Before he focused his career on Enterprise Architect work, Jegarakshagan Gokul held the titles of Senior Software Engineer, Senior Systems Analyst, and Software Consultant/Research Engineer. He has been trained in IBM Message Broker by IBM in Portland, Oregon, and certified in ActiveVOS BPEL, Business Process Management, and SOA. In addition, Jegarakshagan Gokul holds certification in SOA Governance and dynaTrace Application Performance Monitoring. He belongs to a number of professional organizations, including the National Institute of Technology, a federal agency that strives to develop and apply measurements and standards in the industry; and IEEE, the world’s largest professional association dedicated to technology advancement.
